by Rita Costa
1 October, 2026

Here’s everything we shipped between July and September 2026. Memberships got the most attention, alongside QR code check-in and new ways to get help inside your dashboard.

At a glance

  • Membership discount codes
  • Your business name on members’ bank statements
  • Membership totals, and membership suggestions on products with member benefits
  • QR code check-in with a handheld scanner
  • Member prices and members-only warnings at the front desk
  • Change the capacity of a single session
  • Filter the calendar by several resources at once
  • Chat with support and a noticeboard in your dashboard
  • Easier questionnaires for customers
  • Activity suggestions in accommodation reminder emails
  • Disclaimers, question packs and reminders for Pitchup bookings

Memberships

Membership discount codes

You can now create discount codes for memberships. Take a percentage or a fixed amount off the first payment, off a set number of months, or for as long as the membership runs. Codes can be limited to particular memberships, capped to a number of uses or given an expiry date.

Customers enter the code at checkout, where they’d enter a voucher. Before they pay, they see the original price, the discounted price, how many payments the discount covers and what they’ll pay once it ends.

Your business name on members’ bank statements

Members now see your business name, not eola’s, on their bank statement when they pay for a membership. The charge is easier to recognise and less likely to be disputed.

Membership totals and suggestions

The Memberships pages now show how many active memberships you have, how many members they allow and how many have been added, so you can see who still needs to add their family. Activities, rentals and stays with membership benefits now tell customers that a membership gets them a discount, and memberships you’ve hidden from the public are no longer suggested on members-only products.

Front desk and calendar

Check customers in with a QR code scanner

Plug a handheld QR code scanner into your computer and open it from the Check-in button at the top of your dashboard. When a customer shows the QR code from their booking confirmation email, they’re checked in straight away and their booking appears on screen.

To use it, switch on the Check-in app and turn on QR code check-in in your widget settings. Customer check-in is part of the Pro plan.

Member prices and members-only warnings

When you pick a member at the front desk checkout, you see their member price and discount before you take payment, and the card reader shows the amount being charged. Payment link emails show members their price too.

Members-only activities, rentals and stays are now labelled “Members only” when you book from the dashboard. Staff see a warning if the customer isn’t a current member or their membership has lapsed, and can choose to carry on.

Single-session capacity and resource filters

Open a session from the calendar, choose Change capacity and enter the number of places. The rest of the activity stays as it is, and Reset takes the session back to its normal capacity. Any resources still limit how many people can book.

You can also show several resources on the calendar at once. Open Filter and tick the ones you want. The calendar remembers whether you were looking at Resources, Instructors or Activities when you come back.

Help and news in your dashboard

Chat with support in the sidebar, and the contact links on app and report pages, open a chat answered straight away by eola’s assistant. If it can’t help, it hands you to our team.

Your dashboard also has a noticeboard, where we tell you about new features, apps worth trying and reminders like booking your pre-season check-in. New messages wait for you when you sign in, and everything we’ve sent stays there to look back on.

For your customers

Easier questionnaires

Questionnaires now point out any answer that’s missing when a customer presses Submit, instead of greying out the button. Customers who answer the same questionnaire every week can submit their saved answers without changing one first.

Activity ideas in stay reminders

Reminder emails for upcoming accommodation bookings now include a section recommending activities at your centre. It arrives just as guests start planning their trip.

Pitchup bookings

Bookings that come in from Pitchup now get disclaimers and question packs automatically, with links in the confirmation email. Upcoming booking reminders are sent for them too.

Smaller improvements

  • Add-ons can have a short tagline, so customers know what each extra includes.
  • Customers get a prompt if their email address looks mistyped, so your confirmations reach them.
  • Adults-only activities can no longer be booked with children, and children-only activities with adults.
  • After a dashboard booking, new buttons take you to the booking or to post checkout to edit attendees, disclaimers and question packs.
  • When editing a booking you can remove participants invited by SMS as well as email, with the option to refund them.
  • Rescheduling no longer pre-selects a charge or refund for the price difference. You choose whether to charge, refund or do neither.
  • Bookings that used a discount code can be refunded onto a new credit voucher for the amount paid.
  • Class passes have separate buttons to add and remove redemptions, and show who changed them and when.
  • Global search shows each booking’s session date.
  • Repeating calendar notes save much faster.
  • Report downloads show money in pounds, or your own currency, instead of pence.
  • With the Reporting codes app on, you can add reporting codes to add-ons, memberships and class passes.
  • Category names can include brackets, ampersands, plus signs and accented or non-Latin characters, and you can order cards like memberships and vouchers alongside your categories.
  • The members list shows each member’s document status, and members are prompted to finish any outstanding paperwork.
  • Your team can sign in with a passkey, such as Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello or 1Password, as well as a password.
