What we love: Guiding you through some of the most stunning parts of the London canals, Active360’s 2hrs canoe tour is a great way to take to the river whilst staying central. Starting at the Paddington Basin, you'll paddle via the Grand Union Canal past iconic landmarks such as Little Venice, Saint Mary Magdalene Church and Trellick Tower. If you are already an experienced paddler, and know your way around the canals, you can also hire a canoe and explore the area at your own pace.

What we love: A bit further from central London you’ll find the picturesque River Stort, offering miles of stunning countryside views. Whoosh Explore offers guided sessions along the beautiful river for all levels, as well as equipment hire. One of our favourite sessions on offer is ‘Adventure with a Purpose’ which combines a lovely social paddle with supporting a cleaner environment and together act against plastic pollution and tackling invasive plant life.

Location: Sawbridgeworth is a small countryside town located approximately 40min train ride from central London with direct access to River Stort and some of its best paddling routes.
