What are the minimum ages?
At HYDRO Abersoch, RYA Start Sailing Level 1 is for ages 7 and over, Powerboat Level 1 for 8 and over, wing surfing for 10 and over, and Powerboat Level 2 and the PWC course for 12 and over. Little Pirates is for ages 6 to 10 as a guide. E-bike riders must be at least 14, and Abersoch Surf Shop suggests 12 and over for paddleboard hire.
What should I bring?
For RYA courses, bring a change of clothes, lunch or money to buy it, and clothing for the weather. Powerboat Level 2 and PWC courses need a hard copy of a passport size photo. For paddleboard hire from Abersoch Surf Shop, bring old trainers or aqua shoes, swimwear, a change of clothes and food and drink, as wetsuits are not supplied.
