The Outdoor Ed School

The Outdoor Ed School is an outdoor education provider based in Spratts Down Woodland in the heart of the New Forest. We specialise in delivering engaging outdoor experiences that help young people develop confidence, resilience, teamwork, and practical life skills.

Our woodland activity site provides Alternative Provision programmes for schools, delivered on a one-to-one and small-group basis, alongside school activity days and educational visits. Students can take part in over 22 different outdoor activities, working towards individual learning outcomes, awards, and qualifications.

During the summer months, we also operate two campsites for school residential programmes, offering memorable outdoor learning experiences through adventure activities, bushcraft, team challenges, watersports, and evening programmes.

In addition, we operate three woodland laser tag venues that are open to the public on weekends:
