Double Kayak Hire (SOT)

A Double sit on top Kayak is suitable for complete beginners and can fit up to two people. These sit on top kayaks are quick to learn and easy to paddle. Great activity for everyone, including children under 8 going in the front with a parent/guardian in the back.

Our Double Kayaks have a max weight limit of 250kg.

Weather Conditions – Sometimes the weather conditions may be unsuitable for your session. We will do our best to contact you before you arrive but there may be occasions when this is not possible. Our staff will make the final decision as to whether your session can go ahead. Please respect our staff's decision.

No previous experience is required for this activity. Our team will give you some basic instructions on how to operate the SUP as well a full safety briefing

All participants must be water confident wearing a buoyancy aid.

Buoyancy aids are provided by SWLT and must be worn correctly at all times on the water.

Age Restrictions:

1. Under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult on site.
2. Under 16s must have adult supervision from the shoreline.
3. Under 8s must be on the same craft as an adult.

We provide:

1. Buoyancy aids
2. Helmets (for mega SUP)

Wetsuits are available to hire, £6.00. You are welcome to bring your own wetsuit.

Please bring:

1. Appropriate footwear is compulsory (wetsuit boots/shoes/old trainers),
2. Coat, sun hat / cream,
3. A change of clothes and a towel.

We do not recommend taking valuable items such as phones or keys on the water.

Please note, participants cannot wear their own buoyancy aids.
