Tamar Lakes Activity Centre

This is a lovely little sailing club if you want  to practice your inland skills. Really hospitable and friendly instructors and members.

Beautiful location adjacent to the Upper Tamar Lake.

There is a fantastic, dog friendly  walk around the perimeter of the lake that takes between 1 and 2 hours to complete.

And to finish there's a cafe that serves teas and coffees.

Would be 5 stars if not for the Ringo Car Park card or app only option.
Always a lovely walk in well maintained grounds and flat level paths.
Could do with some picnic benches or more places to rest around the lakes.
Toilets were clean and tidy. Carpark was also clean and well maintained.

Three and a half mile walk around the lake is beautiful. Benches at various points en route. Cafe serves breakfast lunch homemade cakes and ice-cream.  Very tasty giant filled rolls. Water sports looked fun but we didnt try it.

Great stay at the campsite, it was very quiet and there was loads of space.  The facilities were clean and had a code.    Husband tried the paddle boarding and really enjoyed it.  Nice walks around the lake and across the dam.
