Tamar Lakes Activity Centre

Went for a run around 8am on a Tuesday, car park was empty bar one other car. The cafe was open but didn’t go in, there are loos available as well. Good running distance, pretty much 5k for a circuit. Quiet, nice view, fairly flat to run. All good.

V nice campsite tho rarely any staff around. Flat area for campervans at top of field so pitches 1 & 2 but you’ll need a 25m cable for EHU. Loos good & washing up facilities.
Make sure you tell the campsite to log you into the parking system; we got home to 2 parking demands for the 2 days we were there; took weeks to resolve.

Brilliant hour canoeing on the lake!! Saw 3 cormorants  close up and a mother duck waiting for her 8 ducklings that slid into the water from the bank in front of us. Beautifully quiet strongly recommend
