Ideas for creating wholesome snacks to fuel us

Description

Tara ( yoga teacher and paddleboard coach) and Devangi ( yoga and Ayurvedic ) teacher) would like to share some simple wholesome recipes we find yummy and delicious. Making snacks from scratch can reduce mindless eating and give much more energy for our active lives. They are veggie recipes without sugars using a wide range of ingredients that are good for your whole body as well as the gut and we will tell you why if you don't already know.

On the menu we will attempt in 2 hours to make ( & eat) the world's simplest breads and crackers, different hummus, Quinoa salad and energy balls as well as trying some teas, with lots of tips and tricks for making ingredients easier to digest and more tasty.

Sunday 19th April. Is open to anyone and will be hosted at the Filling Good store in Maidenhead town centre.

Everyone is very aware of the need to reduce waste especially plastic and by making our own snacks we will collectively minimise unnecessary wrappings and be less reliant on supermarkets. So good for us and the planet!

£7 contribution to go towards ingredients, you will be able to buy ingredients before and after this fun workshop.

Requirements

Turn up for a 5pm start at the shop ( opposite Sports Direct)

What to bring

Cup, spoons, little plate and if you want to share a simple snack recipe please do!
