Ullswater Paddleboarding

Located on Ullswater in the Lake District, we provide Stand Up Paddleboarding lessons, adventure tours and board hire. We want to share our knowledge and passion for Paddleboarding with you by introducing you to this amazing new sport. Stand Up Paddle Boarding – also know as SUP – has its roots in surfing and originated in Hawaii in the 1950s and is currently the fastest growing watersport; not only in the UK, but across the world. Paddleboarding is very easy to learn and is a perfect activity for families, groups and individuals who want to get out on to the water and have fun while exploring the beautiful natural environment.

Ullswater Paddleboarding was set up in 2015 by Adrian Bacon, a qualified BSUPA and ASI instructor and a SUP enthusiast for more than 15 years. Adrian has a long history in watersports; in his youth he was one of the countries top windsurfers, competing in both British and World championships. In between events, Adrian worked for Windsurf Magazine as the senior equipment tester for over a decade.
