Went for a 3-hour workout kayaking along the river here last Saturday. A lovely experience, perhaps not suited for the very young in kayaks on their own - ours are 6 and 9 and were exhausted with 30 mins to go. The scenic route is lovely, passing through the locks is quaint and the "rapids" is good crack. The guides are responsible and friendly, especially poor Phillip, who got the short end of the stick with my missus.

Amazing experience on the river Barrow. All instructors were so informative and fun.
