Ski Rossendale Race Club

In the late 80's and early 90's my parents used to take me and my younger brother skiing here. I visited to have a look around and see how things had changed and was pleased to see around 50 people on the slopes - kids on rings zooming down the slop, a couple of adults enjoying the slopes and many on the beginner slope getting coaching.

After looking around I grabbed a coffee at the cafe, absorbed the atmosphere, and looked on the wall at all the photos from the past to see if I could see anyone I knew.

I walked back to the ski hire area and had a great chat with Ethan who told me he's been there for years and loves it!

First time visiting Ski Rossendale and we had a great experience. We tried the tubing with our young children and absolutely loved it – such a fun activity and really easy and suitable for little ones. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful, which made the whole morning even better.
The café wasn’t open when we visited so we couldn’t enjoy a hot drink afterwards, but it didn’t spoil our morning at all. Hopefully we’ll get to try the café on our next visit.
There looks to be lots of other activities available too, including bike hire and ski lessons, and it’s great to see they also offer seasonal deals. We’ll definitely be back
