The Paddle Centre

Went paddling. Came a bit late but the lady let us stay a bit later whilst she packed up which was so nice of her. Really relaxing and nice trip around the river.

Excellent setup. Parking. A video to show you what to expect. Clearly explained every step by staff. Changing rooms and toilets. Brilliant location. Plenty of space to learn before venturing out.

I had my first paddleboarding lesson and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I was lucky to have a 1:1 session with an instructor who was incredibly patient and explained everything clearly, which really helped settle my nerves as a beginner.

I was amazed to be able to stand up on my first go, and one of my biggest worries—falling off—was completely put at ease as I was shown how to safely get back onto the board.

The whole experience has given me the confidence to want to get my own board now! I’d 100% recommend this place to anyone thinking about giving paddleboarding a try.
