Free Media Day Recreational Practice

Come and join us for a FREE Recreational Practice to help us gather new material to promote Alpine Snowsports. By join this session you will need to agree that you will allow Everyone Active/Rushmoor Borough Council to use the images and video's captured for social media and advertising purposes. On arrival you will be required to complete a Photography consent form.

Here's what you can expect:

1. Skill Development: Practice makes perfect! These sessions offer valuable hours on the slope to enhance your skills and technique.
2. Free Equipment Hire: Don't worry about equipment costs – hire of skis, snowboards and boots are all included free of charge with your session.
3. Safety First: To ensure the safety of all users, participants must meet our minimum standard of being able to stop, turn, and use the button lifts. If you're not at this standard yet, check out our lessons to get you up to speed.

Recreational use of the slopes is available to anyone who meets the required minimum standards as laid out below:

Skiing:

1. Controlled turns
2. Ability to control speed
3. Stop and the ability to use all ski lifts

Snowboarding:

1. Controlled side-slip on toe and heel edge
2. Ability to stop and use lifts.

If you are not at this standard, have a look at our lessons to get you up to speed.

All participants must have;

1. Gloves
2. Long sleeve T-Shirt
3. Long trousers (Loose fitting recommended for ski boots)
4. Dress for the weather as we are outdoors.
5. Helmet for under 7's

We ask people to bring their own helmets where possible. We do have some helmets here to lend to those with out them. Gloves need to cover hands and fingers. We sell gloves for £4.00
