Kids RYA Stage 1 Learn to sail course delivered over four Saturday mornings.
Perfect for youngsters aged 8-16 who would like to learn the basics of sailing with our qualified instructors in a fun and safe environment.
This course will be delivered over 4 consecutive Saturday morning sessions 09.30-12.00, the date chosen when booking will be the first Saturday of the course.
Course content will include launching and recovery, sailing across the wind, turning around, steering and basic parts of the boat. On completion of this course participants should be able to sail across the wind, steer and understand the basic principles of sailing.
Logbook and certificate included.
No previous sailing knowledge or experience is required to attend this course.
Customer must be water confident wearing a buoyancy aid.
A digital disclaimer form must be completed for all participants before arrival.
Buoyancy aids and helmets will be provided by us and must be worn correctly and always fastened when on the water (Customers may not wear their own buoyancy aid’s or helmets)
