Have a Go SUP

Discover the joy of stand-up paddleboarding with our Have a Go SUP taster session at Wimbleball Lake Activity Centre. Perfect for beginners, this experience introduces you to the basics of paddleboarding in the stunning surroundings of Somerset’s beautiful lake.

Our friendly instructors will guide you every step of the way, ensuring you gain confidence and have fun on the water. Whether you’re looking to try something new or add a peaceful outdoor activity to your day, this session is the perfect way to get started. Minimum age 15 for group sessions

We provide:

1. Buoyancy aids/ impact vests
2. Wetsuits
3. Helmets

You are more than welcome to bring along your own wetsuit.

Please bring:

1. Appropriate footwear is compulsory (wetsuit boots/shoes/old trainers)
2. Coat, sun hat / cream,
3. A change of clothes and a towel.

We do not recommend taking valuable items such as phones or keys on the water.

1. Make sure you arrive in good time and have signed all relevant disclaimers and medical declarations in advance.
2. Check in at the Activity Centre reception.
3. Changing rooms and lockers are available.
4. Meet your instructor outside Reception.
