An introduction to the sport covering all of the basics
This introductory course is aimed at people who have never paddleboarded before or who have had a go but want to learn the basics on a structured lesson. During this course, you will cover some basic theory, Paddling techniques, different types of turns, self-rescue & how to fall safely.
BSUPA Level 1 Ready to Ride
The BSUPA Level 1 “Ready to Ride” course is aimed at adults who have never stand up paddled before or people who have had a go but want to learn the basics properly.
Learning to paddleboard is a fast and fun process with a qualified BSUPA Instructor and BSUPA approved SUP school. The course structure is designed to give you the information you need to get on the water safely, have fun and learn the basic techniques of paddle boarding.
During the course you will be given an introduction to how the weather and environment affects you, how to carry the board and paddle, paddling technique, different types of turns, self rescue, how to fall safely as well as how to plan expeditions and the basics of stance in surf.
The 2 hour course is run in flat water and at the end of it, you will be presented with your BSUPA Level 1 Ready to Ride Certificate.
Courses and lessons can be rescheduled with at least 48 hours notice of the activity taking place.
Nomadic Kitesurf Cancellation Policy
If a lesson is cancelled by the customer within 48 hours of lesson time then no refund or credit applied.
All other customer lesson cancellations can be rescheduled when greater than 48 hours notice given from lesson date.
Nomadic withhold the right to cancel at anytime and at short notice due to unsuitable weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances at their discretion. In this situation the lesson will be rescheduled and no refund will be given.
Nomadic's decision is final in relation to exceptional circumstances where they may deem it appropriate to offer a full refund.
