KA Adventure Sports have been running kitesurfing lessons around the Northumberland coastline since 2009 operating along the beautiful beaches of Beadnell Bay, Bamburgh and Budle Bay. These locations cover 100% of the wind directions within a 10 minute drive of our base at Beadnell car park. This lesson will be with one of our experienced British Kitesports Instructors and will cover the basics of power kite flying, learning the concept of the wind window and how to generate power isuing land based trainer kites. We will then progress onto the rigging, launching and landing and safety of LEI kites.

We provide all equipment required including wet suit, helmet, harness, buoyancy aid and relevant kitesurfing equipment.

Location will be disclosed the day before the lesson is scheduled depending on the wind and tide conditions.

It is a requirement that you should be able to swim and be comfortable in the water. No prior experience is required, we can teach from absolute beginner up to coaching level.

Please bring a swimming costume to wear under wet suit. 

Please bring sunglasses and the usual sun cream, water, warm clothes and food and a warm drink for after if required.

KA Adventure Sports provides all equipment required to take part in the activity. If possible, bring your own wetsuit to help reduce the transmission of COVID-19.

We will meet at either Beadnell or Budle Bay depending on the conditions of the day, we will contact you the day before to confirm the location and whether the lesson will be going ahead.
