  • Description

For those who would like to have more tuition than what is offered in the "taster' session or to explore more with your instructor, we offer the 2 Hour Paddle Board Tour Option. The format for this group starts off the same as the paddle boarding taster session in that for the first hour we train both groups together. However, when this hour is done you will then continue with your instructor who will show you more advanced techniques whilst continuing with a tour. Your instructor will pay closer attention to your technique and act as safety for you and your group and help you achieve more when compared to the taster session. In the past we have found that their are 2 groups of people want this type of session. Those who want to progress with their technique and those who want to tour whilst progressing their techniques more whilst also having extra safety offered by having an instructor close by (ie parents with younger kid's for example). We run the 2 hour paddle & tour every day of the week during the summer and on the weekends between the hours of 8am and 8pm (IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE that daily start time's and location can sometimes change according to the weather and tide as we have to factor this in to ensure the session can go ahead).

We also offer a giant paddle board option which can be fun for a family or group of up to 8 people and works out to around the same price when you have 4 people sharing.

We provide all the necessary equipment and expert tuition apart from wetsuits (which can be hired from us, within this booking process, if needed). After you have booked all you then need do is turn up & be able-bodied, and able to swim 50m to participate...Please Note: If anyone is under 18 but over 8 all we ask is that a parent or guardian accompany them ( no under 8's sorry ). If a child is considered not strong enough to manage their paddle board we may ask that they share the instructor's or parents paddle board.

Meeting Point: We meet at Hunston Pontoon, in Hunston near Chichester. There is a free car park nearby and you just have to look for a big red jumbo transit van. We recommend you arrive at least 30 minutes before you start time as the car park can be busy during the summer and you will need time to get changed too...Please note - Sorry but no toilets in the car park.

    Requirements

You must be able bodied & able to swim 50m to participate in this activity. You must be over 8 years old & accompanied by a parent or guardian if under 18.

    What to bring

Water, towel, hat, sun cream, sun glasses plus a wet suit if you have one and shoes you don't mind getting wet (if you don't have a wetsuit we can hire you one).

    Itinerary

The 2 hour lesson is dictated according to what the group hopes to achieve. We can train in advanced paddle board techniques, simply tour a bit, or both. You decide.
