Canoe Rental at Kecksys marina

Paddle on the River Stort in our Open Canes. Each canoe is suitable for two paddlers. Rental is ideal for Adults with Children. available from 9.30am on Saturday and 10am Fridays and Sundays..

A 3 hour paddling session on the River Stort meeting at Sheering Mill Sawbridgeworth, including all the equipment needed for a there and back paddle out on the river.( we can also operate this trip out of Twyford Lock near Bishops Stortford)

Canoe, paddles and small drybag can be provided for your self directed paddle. Suitable for all paddlers and parents with younger children.

Have in your car a change of clothing in case you get wet. Ideal clothing is Gym type kit, sunscreen and a hat is the weather is hot a drink. We have no toilets/facilities nearby as we operate from a trailer which we tow on site.

A confidence on and in water is important for the activity

You can paddle to a nearby pub in 3 hours for a drink or enjoy a picnic on the river - we also have longer hire sessions available in the summer months if you require more time and want to head out for a pub meal.
