CAMPING SPECIAL

ADVENTURE TRIPS

Available only to those who are camping at Avon Valley Campsite

2 hour Trip from Avon Valley - £20 PER PERSON...5 YEARS AND UNDER GO FREE

Join us for a fabulous 2-hour Adventure Paddle along the River Avon on-board one of our amazing Katakanus.

Working in conjunction with Avon Valley Campsite, we are offering this specially discounted Adventure Paddle with all of the same amazing features as the regular trips aboard our Katakanus.

With seating for up to 6 people and a maximum load capacity of 450 kg, Katakanu is a revolutionary kayak encapsulating 800 litres of air, allowing you to stay high and dry all year round.

You’ll set out from Avon valley Adventure & Wildlife Park and be guided by one of our qualified instructors, learning to paddle as a team as you head towards Swineford Lock.

At the Lock you’ll be invited to have a go at operating the lock system and if you’re lucky you may even be able to assist one of the narrow boats through before heading back.

Along the route, keep a watchful eye out for some of our local residents such as swans, kingfishers, herons, woodpeckers, cormorants, ducks, geese, dragonflies, damselflies, falcons and even a rather shy pair of otters!

To discuss this or any other of our Adventure or Wildlife trips, please feel free to contact us.
