Family Axe Throwing (10 Years +)

ANY CHILDREN PARTICIPATING IN OUR SESSIONS NEED TO BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT.

17 years olds will be under as adults

Accompanying adults need to be from 18 years old+


This is a quick taster session to get you and your family throwing tools at our throwing range. (Please note that you will only be throwing Angels and small Axes and NOT tomahawks)

Ever thought what it’ll be like to throw an axe at a target? Why not have a go at our Throwing Angels and a Hatchet?

Our qualified marshals will make sure you hit your target!

Learn to throw in a safe environment. Take on our challenges and the satisfaction of having a throw off against others. 

Who can score the highest points?

The session is 1 hour session for anyone 10 years or over.

(Any children participating in our sessions need to be accompanied by an adult.)

To take on our proper lessons, more trickshots and more throwing tools, please choose our other Axe throwing or Ultimate experience. Please note that these have an age requirement of 16-18 years+

Please note: All our equipment is specifically made for throwing in a controlled environment.

Please Note: No open toe shoes, sandels or flipflips.

COVID-19 Update: Avon Valley toilet facilities inside the park are now open to the public. 

ALL LOCKED PORTALOO'S ARE FOR AVON VALLEY CAMPERS ONLY. Please do not use the portaloos as these are specifically assigned to individual campers on-site to combat the risk of spreading Covid-19! There are the main camping toilets available as well as the main facility within Avon Valley Park.

Please note that all of our equipment is regularly cleaned before and after your arrival. We provide you with alcohol spray to reduce cross-contamination. Face masks are still optional as we are based outdoors.

What to bring

Sunglasses or a cap if it's sunny.

Wellies and waterproof jacket if it's raining. (if raining, then we do have a sheltered range - Availability dependant)

  3. No open toe shoes, sandals or flip-flops
  4. Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult and they must stay on site.

Cancellations

Cancellation Policy

For any cancellations or reschedules, we must receive advance notice a minimum 24 hours prior to the session start date.

Battle Archery Ltd reserves the right to cancel a session if:

The group size is inadequate (For Battle Archery Only – Require minimum of 6 participants) or Adverse weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

Any cancelled session made by us will be rescheduled to another date and time. We reserve the right to change the session type if for example, the Battle Archery group is too small on the day or if there is too much wind for Aerial Archery. We will adapt the session as required.

If using vouchers, we will only reschedule the session if we have been given advance notice a minimum 24 hours.

If you cancelled on the day, I'm afraid you will lose your activity slot.

For extreme weather conditions: We will contact you in case of adverse weather or inadequate conditions – once a session is booked, presume it will go ahead unless we contact you. We will always check the weather leading up to your session.

Where we'll meet

The meeting location is decided on the day.

Please drive down the drive way into Avon Valley Park, take a RIGHT.  Park in the car park, and then walk towards the reception and carry on pass it into the LEFT car park.  Keep walking and you will see the Battle Archery gamezone. If you're walking pass alpacas, you are in the right direction..
