    Early mornings on the Tamar River are the best time to see this stunning area of outstanding natural beauty.

    No matter what your abilities are, this is the perfect time to catch the early morning tide but we do require you to have had a SUP lesson before you book this session.

    Who knows we may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of our resident seal or the occasional otter. The Valley is teaming with birds and fish so bring your waterproof camera to see if you can capture some great shots.


    Requirements

    Have had a SUP lesson so has a level of Stand up ability.

    Confident swimmer

    Ability to self rescue.



    What to bring

    Please arrive ready to go on the water as current conditions mean there are no facilities available.

    1. SUP suitable clothing (board shorts, wetsuit, leggings and T-shirt.
    2. Water shoes
    3. Towel or robbie
    4. Suncream
    5. Water and snacks to keep hydrated for energy afterwards
    6. Change of clothes
    7. Beanie or cap
    8. waterproof camera (optional)


    Itinerary

    Meet and greet in Cargreen down on the quay.

    Introduction and safety brief

    Launch boards and head up or down the river depending on the wind.

    Nature paddle so about a 3km distance covered.
