Thinking of becoming a Lifeguard? Completing the RLSS UK National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is not only rewarding but it also provides you with key life skills such as first aid, CPR and rescue techniques. Handy skills to have! Course Requirements Before taking part in the course:

All candidates must be 16 years of age, and must be able to meet the following fitness criteria:  

-Jump / dive into deep water 

-Swim 50 metres in less than 60 seconds 

-Swim 100 metres continuously on front and back in deep water. 

-Tread water for 30 seconds Surface dive to the floor of the pool Climb out unaided without ladder / steps and where the pool design permits.  Please note that availability is limited to 12 candidates per course. 

The course will run from 8:30-5:30 Monday-Sunday with exam scheduled on Sunday afternoon/evening (any deviation to this schedule will be communicated to candidates by the Trainer Assessor during the course).

Please note the course is non-refundable if cancelled 2 weeks prior to the commencement date.
