Trams Through the Ages Procession

Join us for our special 135th Anniversary Special Promenade Tour of Trams Through the Ages.

Subject to availability the procession will feature a Standard, a 'Boat' or enclosed single-decker (weather dependent), a Railcoach, a Balloon, a Centenary and a Modified Balloon.

Boarding will be from Pleasure Beach Heritage Tram stop only and the trams will proceed in convoy from there along the Promenade and to Little Bispham loop from where they will return to Pleasure Beach arriving back approximately one hour later.

You will be able to leave the Procession on the return journey only and at our usual stops (Bispham, Cabin and North Pier & Tower) but that will then be the end of your tour. You will not be able to reboard a later tram.

Seating will be arranged on a first-come first-served basis as you arrive from 10:30 onwards and we will do our best to seat you in your preferred tram. As we have to arrange seating whilst still adhering to Social Distancing it may not be possible to offer you a seat on your first choice tram. We are not able to pre-allocate specific seats or trams in advance.

Children under 3 may travel free with an adult if they are not occupying a seat. No ticket will be required for them in that case. If you prefer they have a seat, please book a child ticket.

Where we'll meet

Pleasure Beach Heritage Tram stop is about 100m south of the modern tram’s Pleasure Beach stop. Walk a few metres south from there (away from the Sandcastle Water Park) until the tram tracks loop away from the main tram line. Along there you will find our stop. Look out for our Green & Yellow Sign.
