The experience takes place at Hadleigh Park, site of the 2012 Olympic Mountain Biking competition.

Spend the day learning or improving your mountain biking skills. You will have exclusive access to one of our qualified Mountain Biking coaches for the day.

Included in the package is bike hire/bike check; car parking (or pick up/drop off from Benfleet Station), and food & drink.

The price is for one person but you can bring a second and third person at extra cost.

Mountain biking is a dangerous activity which needs a basic level of fitness.

If you bring your own bike it must be in a suitable condition for the trails.

Helmet (or we can hire one for £1) and gloves

Suitable clothes/shoes for the weather and mountain biking

Your bike if you don't want to use one of ours.

The day will start at 9.30 and finish at 4.30.

On arrival, you will be fitted for one of our Whyte hardtail mountain bikes (or if you prefer to bring your own bike we will give that a check and tune). Then it is off to the skills area for an assessment of your existing skill level and a chat about what you would like to achieve from the day.

After a break for a drink and something to eat, it's off to the trails until lunchtime. Lunch is provided in the on-site cafe and then it's back to the trails for the afternoon, stopping for a mid-afternoon drink and snack. You will return to the shop just before 4.30 for a debrief and departure.
