  • Description

RYA Performance Sailing is an advanced module that develops your sailing in performance boats. The course focuses on tuning and trimming your craft to ensure sailors maintain maximum speed and sail the boat smoothly and fluently.

Experienced stage four sailors aged thirteen to sixteen. We recommend saving the performance sailing module until last, the experience you gain from the other four will prepare you to learn more and take more away from the performance course.

Please note that as RYA Advanced Youth courses are taught in double-handed sailing dinghys. The RYA has realised guidance on the 6th of August confirming that Stage 4 courses and above can be taught to those in different households and seperate bubbles.

If you are looking for a single handed option, you can still get afloat and practicing, just book our improver group instead.

Join us at SWAC for a week of fun and exciting learn to sail course for children. SWAC is known for our emphasis on having fun while learning new skills, in the heart of Southampton.
