  • Description

This is the Clubs regular Chuck-About, come SUP Polo practice. It is for people interested in the sport to come and have a go. You will not be in a full on match, but there is a high likelihood that you will fall in, so bring a change of clothes and a means by which to change. There is a public toilet, but it is not designed to change in.ย

Please wear quick drying clothing and bring a change of clothes and a towel. A dry bag would also be a good idea as well and waterproof footwear. Finally water and a snack.ย

Please Noteย - You are responsible for your own safety on all club paddles and must self assess if you are competent to take part, including the ability to Self Rescue. Dittons Paddle Boarding only set the meeting time and place.ย

    Meeting point

    Hurst Park, Molesey -ย https://w3w.co/custom.epic.ladder

    Requirements

You should be able to swim, have a reasonable balance, a sense of adventure and be prepared to fall in!

    What to bring

No specialist clothing is required. In warm weather, ordinary gym gear will be fine (shorts/leggings/T-shirt/sweatshirt), with old sandals or trainers you don't mind getting wet. Or you can get cheap neoprene wet shoes from most large supermarkets.

In colder weather, a wetsuit or drysuit would be advisory.

Always bring a towel and a change of clothes just in case you go in during the paddle boarding session.

Please arrive early enough to pump up your board.

    Itinerary

It's a regular Chuck-About and lots of fun and falling in. You will quickly learn how to move about your board without worrying.
