  • Description

Join us in the woods for our Forest Fun 4 hour session for Neurodiverse children (Autism, ADHD, Dyspraxia, Dyslexia, OCD, Anxiety, etc.). You can learn some bushcraft skills, do some natural arts and crafts, and go for a nature walk all with the guidance of the Wilder Learning Officer on site. Lunch for children provided, but feel free to bring a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout. We will be outside for the entirety of this session, with an outdoor shelter for lunch. Our calm, free-flowing activities take place in a quieter area of the park, where there are fewer dogs and less foot traffic. Parents or guardians are expected to stay with children for the duration of the day.

This session is part of the Essex ActivAte programme funded by ECC and Active Essex and will include a free lunch. To sign up you must be eligible for benefits based free school meals, working parents who need this additional child care support due to finances, or children who are classed as vulnerable.

Please contact learncha@essexwt.org.uk before booking, to assess the suitability of the session for your child's needs.

    What to bring
