West Coast Scotland skills week

Enjoy a residential week developing your sea kayak skills amongst wonderful west coast sea scapes and islands. I'm delighted to be working again with Anita Daimond from Sea Môr Kayaking.


Level: Strong beginners, experienced group paddlers and intermediate paddlers who have gained skills on flat water and light winds and are looking to develop and consolidate skills and confidence in bigger waves and stronger winds.

Over the course of the week, we aim to cover: 

Paddling in wind and tidal areas including breaking into and out of the flow, rescues, trip planning, journeying,  

  1. 5 days of coaching and day trips
  2. 5 nights accommodation in shared rooms
  3. Small ratios supported by two qualified coaches
  4. Locations: west coast near Fort William
  5. self-catering, catered options available
  6. Aimed at strong beginners, intermediate paddlers
  7. Kayak and equipment hire is available

Itinerary

Paddling plans will be made daily depending on weather and tides. Over the course of the week, we aim to cover:

Paddling in wind and tidal areas including breaking into and out of the flow, rescues, trip planning, journeying.

Cancellations

Flexible and reasonable

  1. Full refund minus £20 admin fee if the booking is under or equal to £200 (not including hire fees) and cancelled at least a full 7 days prior to the activity start time.
  2. Full refund minus £20 admin fee if the booking is over £200 (not including hire fees) and cancelled at least a full 28 days prior to the activity start time.
  3. If the conditions on the day aren’t ideal but the activity still takes place, the customer will not be eligible for a refund.
