Orkney

Orkney offers the sea kayaking a feast of options. Numerous islands and coastlines around Orkney Mainland offer challenge in tides and swell and shelter. During our week we will make the most of the conditions, and see some of the beautiful coastlines and take in some historic sites such as Scapa Flow.

Ferry crossing from Scrabster or Gill's Bay (Further details on logistics will be discussed in advance). We will have time to explore some of the fascinating archeological sites.

Suitable for experienced group paddlers and intermediate paddlers - Orkney has tides and winds.

Paddling plans will be made daily depending on weather and tides. Over the course of the week, we aim to explore several islands and tidal areas.

Cancellations

Flexible and reasonable

  1. Full refund minus £20 admin fee if the booking is under or equal to £200 (not including hire fees) and cancelled at least a full 7 days prior to the activity start time.
  2. Full refund minus £20 admin fee if the booking is over £200 (not including hire fees) and cancelled at least a full 28 days prior to the activity start time.
  3. If the conditions on the day aren’t ideal but the activity still takes place, the customer will not be eligible for a refund.
