The River Arun is an awesome river that snakes its way inland through the stunning West Sussex Countryside. If you are wanting to progress your paddle board skills, our river trips offer a great introduction to moving water with experienced Water Skills Academy Adventure trained guides who know the river well.

For scheduled group trips, we ask that new paddlers complete a beginner session before booking a River Arun Adventure.

Wetsuits, rash tops, boots, quick release waist belts and buoyancy aids are included with all bookings. There are options for paddlers with their own kit and those who need to hire equipment, wetsuits and boots. If you have your own board the cost is just £60.00, if you need to hire a board please make sure you tick the box in the add-on section.

Please press the 'request a time' button to enquire about availability for private group bookings. These packages are a popular option for birthday groups, stag and hen parties and unique corporate team events. For private group bookings of 8 or more we can offer a learn to paddle board or improver package and tour of the river. A River Arun paddle board adventure is always a fun day out.

Please be aware this is a remote location so we cannot provide changing rooms and toilets, we only have limited changing facilities in our van and no toilet.

For the River Arun Adventure trip we ask that paddlers are competent in paddling in a forwards direction and able to complete simple turns, you will be on the water for 2+hours. If you are unsure of your ability we would advise that you complete a beginner session before booking a River Arun Adventure.

Sessions will start promptly at the allocated time.

Please dress accordingly for the water temperature, the river is refreshing even in summer months. We provide wetsuits, boots, buoyancy aids and waist belts for this trip.

If using our wetsuits, please bring suitable swimwear for under a wetsuit. In warm weather, swim shorts will be be suitable and we have rash tops you can wear.

A River Arun Adventure begins with everyone getting kitted up before having a safety briefing on dry land, before getting on the water.

Once on the water, we will enjoy the scenic river, whilst newer paddlers can learn some new paddle skills. More experienced paddlers can relax and enjoy being guided along this stunning river.
