A two hour progression session will focus on specific areas of your paddling that you would like to improve. This may include paddling in a straighter line, moving around the board, improved efficiency/ power, faster paddling, improving and learning new turns and overall general technique.
This is a great opportunity for those who have some basic paddling skills to develop technique and progress their skills.
Requirements
What to bring
We provide everything that you will need for your session. We have a full range of summer, winter, full suits and shortie O’ Neill wetsuits to suit all ages and sizes, from age 6 to adult XXL, as well as a huge range of wetsuit shoes, rash vests and Palm buoyancy aids.
All equipment and tuition is included in our lessons, so all you need to bring is yourself, swimwear for under a wetsuit, a towel and a sense of humour. If the weather is too warm for wetsuits, we would suggest that you wear swim shorts and wear one of our rash vests on your top half.
There is a small free car park nearby with limited spaces. If you wish to secure a parking space we have access to the adjacent farmers field which you can pre-book at the time of booking for £5.00. Once booked this space cannot be refunded in the event of alternative parking being found.
Itinerary
Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your session time as this will allow you to get changed etc. Lessons will start promptly at the stated time and cannot be delayed for latecomers.
Your Instructor will meet you and the rest of the group at the pontoon in Hunston, once everyone is kitted up the Instructor will deliver a safety brief.
The Instructor will determine what the group want rom the session and will then deliver a tailored programme of paddle board technique and tips.
