FAQ

What to bring

We provide everything that you will need for your session. We have a full range of summer, winter, full suits and shortie O’ Neill wetsuits to suit all ages and sizes, from age 6 to adult XXL, as well as a huge range of wetsuit shoes, rash vests and Palm buoyancy aids.

All equipment and tuition is included in our lessons, so all you need to bring is yourself, swimwear for under a wetsuit, a towel and a sense of humour. If the weather is too warm for wetsuits, we would suggest that you wear swim shorts and wear one of our rash vests on your top half.

There is a small free car park nearby with limited spaces. If you wish to secure a parking space we have access to the adjacent farmers field which you can pre-book at the time of booking for £5.00. Once booked this space cannot be refunded in the event of alternative parking being found.

Requirements

Minimum age of 16.

Ability to swim 10M.

Itinerary

Please arrive 10-15 minutes before your booked session time as this will allow you to change. Lessons will start promptly at the allocated time and latecomers may not be permitted to attend.

Your Instructor will meet you and the rest of the group at the pontoon in Hunston, once everyone is kitted up the Instructor will deliver a safety brief and a dryland demonstration to familiarise you with the equipment, technique and environment.

The Instructor will then demonstrate techniques for entering the water and the rest of the session will allow progression from kneeling to standing, paddle technique, turning and some basic safety skills. Sessions are adapted to the individual needs to our customers, allowing you to progress your at your own pace.
