Come and join us for our August SUP Club paddle.

We will be launching from Fairthorne Manor on the River Hamble, to book onto this paddle you will have to pay the launch fee to use the slipway, follow the link below to book your place to gain access to the site.

We will meet at the launch slipway and aim to be on the water for 4.15pm, depending on the weather conditions we may take the more sheltered route and explore into nearby Botley, or we may access the main channel of the River Hamble for a paddle before finding a suitable location for a picnic stop.

Please dress for the water temperature and bring along a dry bag with a change of clothing. Please bring a drink and snacks / food as we will stop off for a riverside picnic at a suitable location.

If you require any hire items from us, please make sure that we know what items you require and bring cash on the day as we all know the limitations of the booking system.

This trip is subject to wind and weather conditions and may be cancelled with short notice if the conditions are not favourable.

Please book a place on BOTH booking systems so that we know who to expect and also with Fairthorne Manor directly so that your parking and launch have been pre booked. If you cannot make it, please cancel your place on the system at the earliest opportunity. Fairthorne Manor have their own cancellation policy which you will need to check.

*Please be aware that any cancellations within 24 hours of the trip will incur a £15 charge.

This event is open to paid members of Chichester SUP Club.

For the River Hamble Adventure trip we ask that paddlers are competent in paddling in a forwards direction and able to complete simple turns, you will be on the water for approximately 2+ hours. If you are unsure of your ability we would advise that you complete a beginner session before booking on, or contact us to discuss..

Board/paddle, waist belt and buoyancy aid, dress for the water temperature, hopefully the weather will be good but if not we will have wetsuits and shoes available for hire. We will also have waist belts and buoyancy aids plus boards to hire.
