This open water training session is ideal for triathletes, multi-sport athletes, fitness, and open water swimmers. We’ll work on Swim Smooth's 3 keys for fast and efficient open water swimming (technique, fitness and open water skills). We use a mix of the coaching area, 300 and 500m courses to do this.
Changing rooms will be available AFTER the session to get dry.
Suitable for those who can comfortably swim 500m front crawl in open water up to those training for IM/ITU age group world championships.
If you have hired a wetsuit, please turn up 10 - 15 minutes before your session start time to allow time to get changed.
If you haven't hired a wetsuit, please turn up ‘swim-ready’, 5 minutes before your session.

Meet your coach by the pontoon for the safety briefing and overview of the session
Then like a pool-training session, we’ll work on a mix of fitness, front crawl technique and open water skills e.g. sighting, turning, drafting
These sessions have 8 swimmers per group which allows everyone to progress at their own pace and receive individual feedback and corrections. Our Swim Certified Coach, Swim England Level 2 open water or BTF Level 2 qualified coaches will tailor the session to meet the aims and abilities of the group.

We will cancel and refund your spot if you have requested a refund AND emailed the centre 5 full days prior to the course or session start date. Anyone who fails to not notify the centre via email only (no social media) will not receive a refund.
