SUP hire

These sessions are perfect if you want to practice your skills or just have some fun. Suitable for families, friends, and individuals! Each session is 60 minutes long, you'll get a brief and a quick demo on how to paddle before you make your way out onto dock 8.

A member of our safety team will be keeping a close eye on you but our safety team should only be used on an emergency basis.

Ages 8-11 must be ON the water with an adult ( ratio of 1 adult to 2 children). All participants must have water confidence and can swim at least 50m.

We provide the equipment including a buoyancy aid that must be worn. You must bring closed toe shoes that can get wet (trainers etc) NO flip flops or sliders.

Under 16's must wear a helmet which is provided. Wetsuits can be hired for an additional cost of £4. Pre-booked wetsuit hire cannot be refunded on the day.

Lockers are available inside the centre and are £1 (Returnable), the centre is cashless so please ensure you bring a £1 coin. We also provide boxes to keep your things in and these are kept over by the water in the compounds of the gates. Items are left at the user's risk and Salford Watersports are not held responsible.

The cancellation notice for this session is strictly 5 days, if you are unsure you'll be able to make it, we recommend that you wait until closer to the time to book. To cancel, you must request a refund through EOLA and also email the centre - watersportscentre@scll.co.uk. Our booking system does not let us transfer any bookings over, so you must request a refund to change the booking (within the notice period).

1. Clothes that can get wet, we recommend shorts/t-shirt or gym clothes – Everyone must be suitably covered (no bare chest/or just bikini, etc)
2. You MUST bring some closed toe shoes that can get wet – old trainers will do – no flip flops/sliders.
3. Towel or dryrobe to help you get changed after your session.
4. Plastic bag to carry your wet kit is always useful

1. You should be able to float and can swim at least 50m
2. Minimum age is 8 years old, anyone who we suspect to be younger than 8yrs old will not be allowed on to the water. Our equipment including safety equipment is for 8yrs +

4. Supervision of children on the water and in the centre is the responsibility of the parent/guardian
5. Anyone who is under the influence of alcohol or we suspect to be, will not be allowed on the water and no refunds given

1. If you have hired a wetsuit, please turn up 15 - 20 minutes before your session start time to allow time to get changed. If you are late, the session will not be extended.
2. PRE-BOOKED WETSUIT HIRE CANNOT BE REFUNDED ON THE DAY OF YOUR ACTIVITY, please be mindful when booking.
3. If you haven't hired a wetsuit, please turn up 5 minutes before your session.
4. We'll sign you in, check you have filled in the question packs (part of the online booking process).
5. Give you a buoyancy aid, helmet (if needed) and take you over to your kit.
6. The brief will start and you'll head out on to the water
7. 10 minutes before the end, we'll ask you to start paddling your way back to the start.
