Learn To Windsurf (Junior - RYA Stage 1)

This is an action packed 2 day course.


We'll work through the RYA youth windsurfing scheme and complete stage 1 and work on some stage 2 elements. Suitable for complete beginners or anyone thats completed a windsurf taster session.


What to bring

  1. Shorts/T-shirt to go under a wetsuit. Feel free to bring your own wetsuit if you have one. Changing rooms are only open after activity. 
  2. Shoes that can get wet (no open toe - flip flops/sliders, must be old trainers or wetboots/shoes)
  3. Snacks & lunch 
  4. Drinks 
  5. Suncream 
  6. Towel
  7. Bag for wet kit


Requirements

  1. Be able to swim 25m
  2. Aged 8yrs+


Itinerary

  1. Arrive at the centre and meet your instructor
  2. This course is a mixture of on the water activity with a few theory elements. 
  3. You'll stop for lunch around 12:30pm for 45minutes and then resume activity. 
  4. 16:15 you'll be off the water ready to get changed to leave by 16:30

5 day cancellation

Please see individual sessions cancellation policy but the standard policy is:

We will cancel and refund your spot if you have requested a refund AND emailed the centre 5 full days prior to the course or session start date. Anyone who fails to not notify the centre via email only (no social media) will not receive a refund.
