Discover Climbing Session

This is a half day rock climbing session. It will allow you the opportunity to climb at a Lake District Crag and experience the thrill of being a rock climber.

Your instructor will set up top rope systems for you to climb the wall, and be lowered back down once at the top. This is a safe and fun method to discover climbing.

The difficulty can be tailored specific to the level of the group as all the climbs are rigged by the instructors on site. During the day it may be possible to learn some new skills such as belaying, tying in and abseiling.

This activity will run for up to 3 hours. From 9.00am or 1.00pm

Venues we use include:

  1. Sticklebarn Crag
  2. Scout Crags
  3. East Raven Crag
  4. Woden's Face
  5. Steel Knotts Bluff

  7. Thornhow Crag

Please bring along suitable clothing to stay warm and dry for up to 3 hours outside.
