We can cover any of the following aspects and techniques:

Beginner:

1. Planning Routes (resources, websites etc)
2. Choosing a map
3. Reading the map
4. Understanding scales and symbols
5. Navigate via linear features such as paths, walls and streams
6. Develop hand railing techniques

Intermediate

1. Basic contours
2. Orientate the map
3. 4 D's of navigation Measure distances
4. Pacing
5. Timings
6. Introduction to the compass and its features

Advanced

1. Bearings and back bearings
2. Intricate contour interpretation
3. Night navigation
4. Mountain Leader standard and refresher days

The price of this day is inclusive of:

1. A qualified Mountain Leader (or higher award) affiliated with Mountain Training Association 
2. Local & intimate knowledge of the venues
