    Event for Wanderer Dinghies on the stunning River Kent Estuary at Arnside in Cumbria with views towards the Lakeland Hills. Arnside has a long sailing history with Victorians holding regattas and Arthur Ransome's Swallow built in the village.

    It may include racing or a cruise out into the estuary towards Holme Island and Grange over Sands (shown in the above photo). The Sailing Club's Clubhouse in the Old Customs House overlooking the estuary will be open for socialising afterwards.

    The event is being held in partnership with the Wanderer Class Owners Association. To claim your discount click on add ons when booking..

    Arnside Sailing Club members wanting to sail in the Club Wanderer please book the boat out in the Club's craft booking system or contact arnsidesc.sailing@gmail if they want to sail in a Wanderer.


    Entry Fee

    The event is free to members of Arnside Sailing Club and Wanderer Class Owners Association, otherwise £20 per boat, (This includes temporary membership of Arnside Sailing Club). Price is per boat. (In making the booking just fill in your own details not your crews). We also use the online system for water sports lesson

    The price is the same if you are coming for just one day or two days. Once you have registered you should get a questionnaire which asks you how many days you are coming for and crew details








    Itinerary

    Sunday 14th August Sailing 1330 - 1600

    Monday 15th August Sailing 1415 - 1645

    If bringing a boat please arrive at least two hours earlier to set up. Sailing times are appropriate depending on tides time, weather and how quickly the tide goes out

    The Clubhouse bar will open afterwards for socailising
