Following from the Paddle Discover course the Paddle Explore Award looks to develop your skills further in a craft of your choice.

This course is working towards the Paddle Explore Award, the candidate may not achieve the award in this timeframe. We also recommend a minimum age of 14 years for this course.

1. The participant should be comfortable on and around the water, please let us know if you have any concerns surrounding this.
2. The participant should be able to partake in physical activity for this period of time, please check with your doctor or call us with any concerns.

Please come prepared for your time on the water. We recommend casual, sporty clothing in layers so you can adjust to the weather. A fleece with waterproofs are great if you have them, if not we have some tops/trousers that you can borrow to wear over your clothes for the session. Please bring shoes that you do not mind getting wet and a change of clothes for 'just in case'.

Please bring any medication you may need and ensure staff are aware of this before your session starts.

This course will work through the British Canoeing Paddle Explore Award with the aim to achieve this by the end of the session. You should have some prior experience before completing this course, we recommend completing the Paddle Discover course prior to this.
