Paddle Boarding Progression Course


Our Paddle Boarding (SUP) Progression course will set you up for the basics of SUP paddling; technique, equipment and rescues. You can book a bespoke session by requesting a time (for two or more people) or choose from the dates available. Equipment is provided but you can bring your own.

What to bring

Please come prepared for your time on the water. We recommend casual, sporty clothing in layers so you can adjust to the weather. A fleece with waterproofs are great if you have them, if not we have some tops/trousers that you can borrow to wear over your clothes for the session. Please bring shoes that you do not mind getting wet and a change of clothes for 'just in case'.


  1. The participant should be comfortable on and around the water, please let us know if you have any concerns surrounding this.
  2. The participant should be able to partake in physical activity for this period of time, please check with your doctor or call us with any concerns.


This course will work through the British Canoeing Paddle Start award using a SUP with the aim to achieve this by the end of the session.

Cancellation Policy

  1. Full refund if the booking is under or equal to £200 and cancelled at least a full 72h prior to the activity start time.
  2. Full refund if the booking is over £200 and cancelled at least a full 5 days prior to the activity start time.
  3. If the conditions on the day aren’t ideal but the activity still takes place, the customer will not be eligible for a refund.
