Explorers After School Club is for young paddlers who have progressed beyond the Discoverers Group. Participants should be at British Canoeing Paddle Explore level or above and completed 2 years of paddlesports (or more) before joining this group.

1. Participants should be comfortable on and around the water, please let us know if you have any concerns surrounding this.
2. The participants should be able to partake in physical activity for this period of time, please check with your doctor or call us with any concerns.
3. Participants should be at British Canoeing Paddle Explore level or above and completed 2 years of paddlesports (or more) before joining this group.

Please ensure that you have clothes appropriate to the weather and a change of clothes for after the session including:

1. Footwear - Old trainers/sandals/wet boots - that you don’t mind getting wet (not flip-flops or wellington boots)
2. Lightweight trousers or shorts
3. T-shirt / Long sleeved garment
4. Lightweight sweatshirt
5. Windproof top and trousers
6. Hat, sunscreen
7. Drink
8. Towel and dry clothing
9. Any medication eg: Inhaler, EpiPen (ensure staff are informed of any medication that you drop your child off with).

The group will learn about different disciplines of paddlesports, including race boating, freestyle kayaking, solo canoeing, and more.
