As part of HPPCCs commitment to supporting and sustaining our waterways the club will be undertaking regular monthly litter picks on the River Trent. This project has been supported by Severn Trent Water and will enable paddlers of all ages and abilities to get out and help clear our waterways of rubbish and litter.

Starting from the club compound craft will make their way upstream with all appropriate safety equipment to collect rubbish.

Inexperienced or non-paddlers are welcome to also attend and will paddle in one of our rafts with one of our experienced paddlers.

These events will be free to club members, members of other Canoe Clubs or Individual members of British Canoeing.

Non-members will need to pay a £3 charge to cover insurance costs.
