This trip is a round loop trip paddling down the river and then transferring to the canal and paddling back. Total distance about 14km.

This trip has elements on moving water and therefore is subject to water levels and conditions. Paddlers for this trip should be able to control their boats on green moving water. This flow can sometimes be quite strong depending on the flow.

No shuttle required but some portages are required around locks and transferring from canal to river, and river back to canal.
