    North Wales Snowsports Club invites you to come along and pit your team’s skills against the best in the country in an afternoon of Dual Slalom races that can see you win big for you and your club!


    1st Place - £250

    2nd Place - £200

    3rd Place - £150


    There will also be Live Music, BBQ, and Raffle.


    Entry fee is £15 per person (Teams of 3)

    (NB. If you wish to take part and are not part of a team, then please contact the organisers to express your interest, as it may be possible to put together scratch teams). Registered and non registered racers are welcome to enter!


    Teams must include:

    1. 1 x U10/U12 OR, Master OR, currently active racer with over 150 seed points, OR unregistered Male or Female who has never been below 150 seed points.
    2. 1 x U14 and over Male (any seed points)
    3. 1 x U14 and over Female (any seed points)


    This event and the Club National on 24th September are open to Unregistered Racers.


    Provisional Timings:

    1.30pm - sign in and bib collection

    2pm - Warm up session (1 course will be set up for warm up purposes)

    3pm - Racing commences

    6pm - approx finish time

    Membership

    The New Season Memberships will begin on the 1st Oct 2023.

    Full membership of the North Wales Snowsports Club is not a requirement to participate in these sessions, the standard rate includes the temporary membership required as a minimum. However becoming a full member does entitle you to significant reductions on all regular NWSC sessions, and the general use of the Llandudno slope outside of the clubs use. If you are not a current member, then you can join via the eola system.

    Requirements

    Participants must be able to control speed and direction from the top of the slope, turn, stop, and use the lift unaided.


    Parents of any children under the age of 16 are expected to remain at the centre, within sight of the slope, in case they are required.


    The supervising coach/es will reserve the right to ask participants to leave the slope should their ability not be up to the required standard, and / or potentially be at imminent risk of harming themselves or others.



    What to bring

    You can bring your own ski gear or you can use the hire equipment from the Llandudno, included in the price, should you prefer.

    You must bring (your own) gloves, and wet weather gear is advised in case of rain.

    Bare in mind that there are also sprinklers on the slope to consider.

    Helmets are essential for this event.

    This is a specific event where participants will be taking part in head to head ski racing through a set course.
