You can book up to an hour before the session, but if there are insufficient bookings up to 24 hours prior, the session may need to be cancelled for the club to not incur any last minute cancellation charges. Flyers Sessions

Our focused race training sessions are held at Llandudno at 6:30pm each week (with arrival at 6pm to be on the slope sharp for the warm ups and to make the most from the session, and not affect the progress of the other participants). We have experienced Coaches to help you improve your race skills with a view to competing in local and national ski races, and beyond.

Minimum Ability

In order to attend these sessions you must either be a registered racer with seed points, be pre-approved by at least 2 of our club coaches, or successfully pass a pre-assessment. The Sunday Skills sessions can be a good entry level session, and the Coaches there can assess ability and advise accordingly.

Membership

The New Season Memberships begin on the 1st Oct each year.

Full membership of the North Wales Snowsports Club is not a requirement to participate in these sessions, the standard rate includes the temporary membership required. However becoming a full member does entitle you to significant reductions on all regular NWSC sessions (usually £5), and the general use of the Llandudno slope outside of the clubs session times. You will need to be a competent skier capable of skiing from the top of the slope making controlled linked turns.

All participants will need to be either a registered racer with seed points, or have their skiing assessed and approved prior to attending.

If you are unable to achieve the required standard you will be advised accordingly.

This session is for those skiers that want progress further in ski racing.

Parents of any children under the age of 16 are expected to remain at the centre, within sight of the slope or make suitable arrangements, in case they are required.

The supervising coach will reserve the right to ask participants to leave the slope should their ability not be up to the required standard, and / or potentially be at imminent risk of harming themselves or others.

If you have your own ski gear please bring it with you.

The cost includes hire of equipment from the slope at Llandudno if you don't have your own gear.

Helmets are essential for this session.

Lots of skills and drills as well as skiing through slalom gates and markers.
