Pay and Play Kayak - WWC Open Day 2025

This activity is classed as equipment hire, you are not supervised during the hire time.

Double or single Sit-on-top Kayaks are available.

You must stay on this stretch of water, craft may not be moved away from the river at any time.

You are not able to go past a lock in any direction or into the marina area opposite WWC.

Under 18's must have an adult on the water with them.

Craft available for Kayaking Pay & Play are;

Double sit on top Kayak (2 seats)

Single sit on top Kayak (1 seat)

Everyone taking part must have been booked in and paid for.

1. Participant should be comfortable on and around the water, please let us know if you have any concerns surrounding this.
2. You should be able to partake in physical activity for this period of time, please check with your doctor or call us with any concerns.

Please come prepared for your time on the water. We recommend casual, sporty clothing in layers so you can adjust to the weather.

A fleece with waterproofs are great if you have them, if not we have some tops/trousers that you can borrow to wear over your clothes for the session.

Please bring shoes that you do not mind getting wet and a change of clothes for 'just in case'.

For sit-on-top kayaking, you will get a wet bottom and legs due to the design of the boats.
