Private traditional canoe trip on the river Brit from West Bay
A guided canoe trip in traditional Canadian style open canoes, led by a local paddle sports instructor for your group on an exclusive basis. This session lasts up to 2 hours, starting with getting you moving in the craft to navigate further up river towards Bridport before returning to the starting location. The sessions are designed to be dry but we can not promise you will not get wet. The river experience is perfect for beginners the those who enjoy a restful relaxing time on the water.
Our base rate is set at two adults on a trip (£90) additional adults are £35 each and small children £25 once a group of 3 has been met.
Discounts for large groups (8 or more) are automatically discounted at point of booking. Groups sizes are capped at 5 crewed canoes per Instructor but we can accommodate large groups by adding more Instructors.
Our stable Canadian style open canoes do not have a habit of falling over, but be prepared they may have an off day.
Please feel free to bring:
Make sure you have a change of clothes in your car just in case.
Water and a snack for small children as 2 hours is often too long for smaller children without food.
A warm jumper or waterproof jacket to protect yourselves from the wind or rain
Please avoid bringing electronic items such as phones or cameras (we will have a barrel you can use if essential)
