Slip and Slide Session Dorset

Session Information

Get ready for the slide of your life!

Your session starts 10 minutes before the hour with a mandatory safety briefing, so please arrive on time.

You’re booking a 1-hour Public Slip and Slide session on our legendary 426.5ft slide on the A31 between Sturminster Marshall and Wimborne. This includes the safety briefing, with the final slide called one hour after it begins.

Your ticket includes use of our single and double rings. Spectators are free, so bring the crew and let them watch the fun unfold.

When Booking:

We’ve made booking as simple as possible, promise. Just a few handy tips before you hit confirm:

1. Double-check your date and session time.
2. ensure you spell your email correctly. Your confirmation and all the info you need for your visit will go straight there, so type it carefully.
3. If your screen freezes at checkout or your email goes down etc. please don't make an other booking, check your bank first. If the payment has gone through, your booking is safely in our system and the confirmation will be winging its way to you.

Food and Drink:

We have a food van on site serving hot and cold drinks, crisps, chocolates, ice lollies and pot noodles, so you won't go hungry or thirsty! You’re also welcome to bring your own food and drink. We just ask one thing, to please take all your litter home with you. It keeps the field clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone. Thank you.

Dogs

We love dogs, but they are not permitted on site.

This is a condition applied by Highways England to protect the safety of your dog and A31 users.

All participants must:

1. Be aged 4 years and over
2. Be confident in and around shallow water
3. Be supervised by an adult at all times if aged 17 or under
4. Be able to walk up the staircase independently, or have appropriate assistance
5. Wear a wetsuit if body sliding (no board or ring)
6. Weigh no more than 19 stone (120kg)
7. Be no taller than 6ft 6in (198cm)
8. Wear suitable footwear (grip socks, wetsuit boots, beach/swim shoes — no trainers)

Please note: sessions start 10 minutes before your booked time with a mandatory group safety briefing. The final slide is called one hour after the start of the safety briefing. Grip socks are available to purchase for £2.50 and wetsuits are available to hire for £4.

Clothing

You may wear any clothing you do not mind getting wet (most people wear swimsuits). However, items must not have exposed zips, buttons, sharp edges, studs or rivets. Wetsuits are permitted, but zips must be positioned on the back of the suit and fully covered.

Please note there is a slight risk of friction burns, so we recommend covering exposed skin. You are welcome to bring your own wetsuit or hire one from us for £4.00 per suit, plus a returnable deposit.

A wetsuit is required if you wish to body slide without a ring or board.

Hats

are not permitted unless secured with a toggle.

Footwear

Must be wetsuit boots, beach shoes or grip socks, as these provide the necessary grip on the slide. Trainers and all other footwear are not permitted. Grip socks are available to purchase on site for £2.00 per pair in small, medium and large if required.

Jewellery & Glasses

All jewellery must be removed or securely covered with a waterproof plaster.

Glasses must be secured to your head using a strap and are worn at your own risk.

As soon as you arrive, you’ll park up and head over to Reception. We recommend you arrive at least 30 minutes before your session. This allows time to process everyone, as full sessions can see Reception very busy, so give yourself enough time to get parked, check in and get ready to slide.

Your session actually starts 10 minutes before the hour with a mandatory safety briefing, so please ensure you are ready and present in good time.

If you need to sort disclaimers, purchase socks or hire a wetsuit, then allow your party a little extra time.

Check in, get your wristband on and join the group ready to start.

We will then call your wristband for the safety briefing so everyone knows the drill before the action starts.

Then pick your lane. And go.

Ride it your way - single ring, double up or full send in a wetsuit. Race your mates or chase your best run.

Our team are on hand to keep things flowing and give you a gentle push if needed!
